Shane Rackley was born and raised in the Corpus Christi area, graduated from Calallen H.S., and then toured the South Texas schools of higher learning.
In 2001 he landed a job at the Corpus Christi Caller-Times where he was a digital content producer on their website for 8 years. After his tenure at the newspaper, he worked as a graphic designer for several companies in the Corpus Christi area.
Wanting to get back into a news organization, he joined KRIS-TV in May of 2022.
