Makaylah Chavez was born and raised in McAllen, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in December 2022 with a bachelor's in communications and a minor in English.
During college, she worked as an Opinion and Managing Editor for the campus newspaper. She also hosted two radio shows and was the Radio Station Manager.
Outside of work, Makaylah has her own blog where she casually writes about growing up. In her free time, she loves going to Cole Park Pier with her friends, walking at parks, watching Netflix and staying active.
She has a five-year-old dog named Max, who she loves with all her heart.
Her favorite singers are Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, and Russ. Makaylah's go-to food is, for sure pizza from any place, any time. She would love to write for a magazine, like Cosmopolitan or Teen Vogue, one day in a big city.
