CORPUS CHRISTI SYMPHONY: AN AMERICAN CELEBRATION
The Corpus Christi Symphony presents "An American Celebration," a concert honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. The program features acclaimed pianist Norman Krieger and area choirs performing patriotic works including Bernstein's Overture to Candide, Copland's Lincoln's Portrait, and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.

2026 MAYOR'S BIG BANG CELEBRATION
The annual Mayor's Big Bang Celebration is Corpus Christi's signature Fourth of July event on the bayfront, featuring live music, food trucks, the Coastal Comida Food Truck Festival, and a spectacular fireworks display over Corpus Christi Bay. This year's celebration takes on special significance as it coincides with America's 250th anniversary. A free shuttle runs from City Hall to the event starting at 11:30 a.m.

USS LEXINGTON RED, WHITE & BOOM FIREWORKS VIEWING PARTY
Watch the Mayor's Big Bang Fireworks Show from the flight deck of the USS Lexington Museum, the country's oldest and longest-serving aircraft carrier. The event features live music by local band The Chainlinks, along with patriotic souvenirs, food, beer, and wine available for purchase. Chairs are provided, and guests may bring camp chairs or blankets.
