S2G Golf hosted its first annual Golf Fest this weekend to celebrate both National Golf Month and the business's first anniversary.
The free community event took place Saturday, Aug. 22, at S2G Golf, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., welcoming golfers of all ages and skill levels.
The event featured a golf-focused vendor fair and pop-up marketplace with local golf businesses, organizations, and brands, complimentary indoor and outdoor golf simulator play, free swing evaluations, golf contests and challenges with prizes, and an opportunity to meet local golf influencers, industry professionals, and fellow golfers.
At noon, S2G Golf commemorated its first anniversary with a ceremonial cake cutting and photo opportunity.
Mario Martucci, owner of S2G Golf, said the business was built to give the Corpus Christi community a new way to experience the game.
"The whole goal of S2G Golf was to be another way to experience golf here in Corpus Christi. It's real exciting to celebrate our first year because that means people love coming to S2G Golf," Martucci said.
