Corpus Christi Firefighters C.A.R.E is gearing up for its annual shirt fundraiser.
The organization raises money by selling shirts, hats, and bracelets. That money is then donated to charity and to a fund for firefighters battling cancer.
This year's shirt was unveiled Friday, and the organization announced it is currently taking presale orders.
Battalion Chief Thomas Cruz said the department plans to get out into the community to sell.
"We'll do all of the remote sales, you're gonna see us anywhere that we can go, anywhere that wants us. We're happy to go and sell," Cruz said.
The first opportunity to purchase will be at the Art Walk on Sept. 4, and the Fire Department Union Hall on Sept. 11.
