CORPUS CHRISTI — It was a beautiful start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We saw abundant sunshine with an afternoon high of 73 degrees. However, it looks like it is going to be another chilly evening. Look for mostly clear skies with an overnight low of 46 degrees. We will see a mixture of sunshine and clouds for Super Bowl Sunday. Expect a daytime high around 74 degrees. The winds will pick up a bit out of the southeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour.
We will start the workweek with mostly cloudy skies and breezy conditions. A few stray showers will also be possible. Well above average temperatures are expected on Tuesday. Look for an afternoon high around 83 degrees. The next strong cold front will arrive early on Wednesday morning. A few showers will also be possible with the frontal passage. Daytime highs will only be in the mid 60's Wednesday and Thursday. A gradual warming trend is expected Friday and Saturday.
