CORPUS CHRISTI — We started our weekend with some pretty good showers across parts of the Coastal Bend. Some areas picked up about a quarter inch of rain. It was also rather breezy. Our peak wind gust was out of the south at 34 miles per hour. We did make it up to 95 degrees this afternoon. The forecast for tonight calls for more scattered showers with an overnight low around 79 degrees. It should be a little bit drier on Sunday. Expect mostly sunny skies tomorrow with a few isolated storms. We will see a daytime high around 93 degrees.

We will see another surge of moisture on Monday. This will bring us another round of scattered showers for the start to the work week. It should be rather tranquil for the remainder of the week. Look for mostly sunny skies with a few stray showers each afternoon. Daytime high temperatures will be around 90 degrees with overnight low temperatures in the mid to upper 70's.
