CORPUS CHRISTI — It was definitely a hot start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We broke the record high today with an afternoon temperature of 90 degrees. It was also rather breezy. Our peak wind gust was out of the south at 29 miles per hour. We will see some significant changes for Sunday following a cold front overnight. The forecast for tomorrow calls for mostly sunny skies with a daytime around 70 degrees.
We will remain in a rather tranquil weather pattern most of the week with abundant sunshine each day. Look for some chilly mornings Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures will drop down to the upper 40's. We will see a gradual warm up through midweek. Another weak cold front will arrive late Thursday into Friday.
