CORPUS CHRISTI — It was a hot and humid start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We made it up to 96 degrees this afternoon. Heat index values ranged from 100 to 105 degrees. The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies and mild conditions. Look for an overnight low around 77 degrees. Expect more patchy fog to develop in the early morning hours. We will see a mixture of sunshine and clouds on Sunday with a daytime high around 93 degrees. The winds will pick up out of the southeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour.
We will see increasing moisture for the workweek ahead. Isolated showers will possible on Monday. More widespread shower activity is expect midweek. A little drier air will return as we get closer to next weekend. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 90's with overnight lows in the upper 70's.
