CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It was another hot and humid start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We made it up to 97 degrees this afternoon; heat index values were around 110 degrees.
It was also a little breezy -- the peak wind gust was out of the southeast at 27 miles per hour.
We can expect similar weather conditions tomorrow.
The forecast for tonight calls for mostly clear skies and mild weather conditions. Look for an overnight low around 79 degrees.
It will be sunny and hot again on Sunday with a daytime high of around 96 degrees.
It will be hot and dry for much of the week ahead, however, we can’t rule out a few isolated showers.
Daytime highs will be in the mid-to-upper 90s.
The overnight low temperatures will be around 80 degrees.
We will see increasing rain chances next weekend.
