CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Good morning and Happy Wednesday!
Make plans to get out and enjoy the sunshine today! We'll get a quick break from the clouds today, but they'll be back as we close out this week. The sunshine and increasing humidity will make for slightly warmer temperatures this afternoon. Expect highs in the upper 80s yet again. A light breeze picks up from the east this afternoon around 10-12 MPH.
Don't expect any rain today, but we'll have a few stray showers on Friday ahead of a weak cold front that arrives overnight into Saturday morning. The front won't do much to our temperatures over the weekend, but it will ensure some beautiful conditions through the beginning of next week.
Heading out to the coast today? The beach forecast looks great: surf will be 1-2 feet with a low risk of rip currents. Make sure to slather on the SPF 30— the UV index for today is very high.
