CORPUS CHRISTI — It is going to be a hot and dry weekend for most of us here in the Coastal Bend. However, we can't rule out a stray shower or two popping up. We will see a mixture of sunshine and clouds again today. Expect a daytime high around 96 degrees with light winds out of the southeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour. The forecast for tonight calls for increasing clouds and mild weather conditions. Look for an overnight low around 77 degrees. The forecast for Sunday calls for partly sunny skies with an afternoon high of 95 degrees. An isolated shower will also be possible.
High pressure will continue to dominate our weather for much of next week. That means the hot and dry weather conditions will persist. Look for daytime high temperatures in the mid 90's with overnight lows in the upper 70's. There is still a slight chance of a shower on Monday.
