CORPUS CHRISTI — It looks like we are going to see a pretty warm weekend here in the Coastal Bend. The forecast calls for abundant sunshine today with an afternoon high around 92 degrees. Expect light winds from the south at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Tonight we will see partly cloudy skies and mild weather conditions. Look for an overnight low around 74 degrees. The forecast for Sunday calls for a mixture of sunshine and clouds with a daytime high around 90 degrees. A few isolated showers will be possible.
The next cold front will be arriving on Monday. There is a pretty decent chance for showers and thunderstorms with the frontal passage. It will be much drier and cooler midweek behind the front. Daytime highs will be in the upper 70's to lower 80's. Another strong cold front will be arriving on Friday.
