CORPUS CHRISTI — It's going to be another hot and humid weekend here in the Coastal Bend. Look for isolated showers to develop this morning and later this afternoon. Expect a daytime high around 95 degrees. The winds will be light out of the southeast at 5 to 15 miles per hour. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies with a chance of showers with an overnight low of 79 degrees. We can expect similar weather conditions for Sunday. The high temperature tomorrow should be around 96 degrees.
High pressure will shift back toward Texas as we move into next week. This will bring back the very hot and dry weather pattern. Daytime highs will be in the mid to upper 90's with overnight low temperatures around 80's. There is very little chance for rain Monday through Friday. Heat Index values will range from 105 to 110 degrees.
