We are waking up to a few isolated showers across parts of the Coastal Bend this morning. This will give way to mostly sunny skies this afternoon with a daytime high of 92 degrees. Winds will be out of the northeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour. Tonight look for mostly clear skies and mild conditions. Expect an overnight low around 75 degrees. We will see increasing moisture for the the end to weekend. This will lead to more widespread showers on Sunday.
The shower activity will be on the increase for the first half of the work week. An area of low pressure out in the Gulf will be moving closer to South Texas. The Hurricane Center will be closely monitoring this area for possible tropical development. Daytime highs temperatures will be in the lower 90's with overnight lows in the mid 70's.
