CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It was a pretty decent start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend with a mixture of sunshine and clouds and a few spotty showers.
Some of the inland areas picked up more that an inch of rain.
We will continue with the hit and miss showers for the rest of the weekend.
Tonight's forecast calls for mostly clear skies and mild weather conditions and an overnight low of around 78.
Tomorrow we can expect more hot and humid weather with a few stray showers in the morning and then again in the afternoon and a high of 94 and winds from the southeast at 10-15 mph.
This summer-like weather pattern will continue for much of the week ahead with daytime highs in the lower to mid 90s and overnight lows in the upper 70s .
We could see increasing moisture later in the week that could lead to a few showers.
