CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — We are waking up to some patchy fog with a few isolated showers today. However, drier air will start to filter in the next couple of days and temperatures will be warming up.

The forecast for this afternoon calls for mostly sunny skies with a few isolated storms. Look for a daytime high of around 87 degrees.

The winds will be blowing out of the southeast at 5 to 10 mph. Wednesday night, we can expect partly cloudy skies with a stray shower possible.

Expect an overnight low around 74 degrees. It will be partly sunny and warm for the remainder of the workweek. The daytime highs will remain in the upper 80's to lower 90's.

We are also keeping a close eye on Tropical Storm Cristobal. It will likely move through the center of the Gulf this weekend. This means we will likely be on the hot and dry side of it.

Temperatures will warm into the mid 90's Sunday through Tuesday. We are also expecting higher surf this weekend with the possibility of some coastal flooding.

We will closely monitor the track of this storm the next couple of days as it could change over that period.
