CORPUS CHRISTI — We are waking up to some rather chilly temperatures in the area. Many areas are in the lower 40's this morning. However, this will give way to mostly sunny skies and warmer weather conditions this afternoon. Look for a daytime high around 73 degrees with light winds out of the northwest. It will be mostly clear and chilly again tonight with an overnight low around 44 degrees. We will continue with mostly sunny skies again on Sunday. Clouds will start to roll in late in the day. Expect a daytime high around 75 degrees tomorrow afternoon.
It will be cloudy and breezy on Monday. A few light rain showers will be possible. The temperatures will be in the lower 80's on Tuesday. The next big cold front will roll through early Wednesday morning. We could see a few showers with the frontal passage. It will be quite a bit cooler midweek behind the front. A gradual warming trend is expected as we head into next weekend.
