CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — We are waking up to some rather dense fog across much of the Coastal Bend this morning. Use extreme caution when heading out on any of the roadways.
A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for the area through 1 p.m.
The forecast for this afternoon calls for mostly cloudy skies with a few showers possible. Look for a daytime high around 81 degrees.
The winds will be blowing out of the southeast at 10 to 15 mph. Tonight will be mostly cloudy and mild with an overnight low temperature of 69.
We will see a rapid warming trend for much of the work week ahead. Look for mostly sunny skies with daytime high temperatures around 90 degrees Tuesday through Thursday. The overnight low temperatures will be around 70.
The next cool front will arrive late on Friday. There is a slight chance for a few showers with the frontal passage. It will also cool us down a bit for the start to next weekend.
