CORPUS CHRISTI — It's going to be another hot day here in the Coastal Bend. We are also waking up to some patchy fog in our inland locations. The forecast for today calls for mostly sunny skies and mild weather conditions. Look for an afternoon high around 92 degrees today. Expect light winds out of the east at 5 to 10 miles per hour. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly clear skies with an overnight low around 74 degrees.
Our first real cold front of the season will be arriving late tomorrow morning. There is a decent chance for a few showers and thunderstorms with the frontal passage. The winds will also be picking up after the front. This will lead to sunny and mild weather through at least mid week. A much stronger cold front is set to move through on Friday. This will bring us below average temperatures next weekend. Highs on Saturday will only be in the mid 70's.
