CORPUS CHRISTI — It's going to be a warm and cloudy end to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We are looking for an afternoon high around 84 degrees today. Expect light winds out of the north at 5 to 10 miles per hour. A warm front will be approaching from the south this evening. This will bring us a chance of showers and milder overnight temperatures. The forecast for tonight calls for an overnight low around 72 degrees. It will be warming up for the start to the workweek. Daytime highs will be in the lower 90's on both Monday and Tuesday. We could see a few isolated showers on Columbus Day.
The next cold front will be arriving on Wednesday. There is a chance for a few showers and thunderstorms with the frontal passage. Temperatures will be in the lower 80's Wednesday and Thursday. It will be a bit warmer as we get closer to next weekend.
