CORPUS CHRISTI — It was a very pleasant start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We saw a mixture of sunshine and clouds with a daytime high of 76 degrees. Our peak wind gust was out of the north at 28 miles per hour. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies and cool weather conditions. Look for an overnight low around 63 degrees. We will see a bit more cloud cover and warmer temperatures on Sunday. The forecast for tomorrow calls for an afternoon high of 82 degrees. The winds will be out of the northeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
We will see increasing moisture and a chance for showers on Columbus Day. Temperatures will warm up into the lower 90's on Monday and Tuesday. Another cold front will arrive on Wednesday. There is a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms with the frontal passage. Temperatures will be in the mid 80's for the latter half of the week.
