Cloudy and Cool with Showers Likely

CORPUS CHRISTI — It looks like we are going to see a cloudy and cool start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. It's likely we are going to see some scattered showers as well. Look for a daytime high around 55 degrees today with the winds blowing out of the northwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour. The forecast for tonight calls mostly cloudy skies with more showers possible. Expect an overnight low around 41 degrees. We will see a bit more sunshine and warmer temperatures for the end to the weekend. The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies tomorrow with an afternoon high around 64 degrees.
We remain in a rather tranquil weather pattern for much of the work week ahead. Expect abundant sunshine with a gradual warming trend. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 70s. The next front will drop into South Texas towards the end of the week. This could bring more scattered showers on Friday.
