CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Good morning and Happy December!

It's chilly this morning across the Coastal Bend— bundle up before you head out. Temperatures will still be mild this afternoon with highs only reaching the 60s. Expect mostly cloudy skies across the region throughout this Thursday and into the overnight. A few light showers and drizzle will arrive later this evening as well as patchy dense fog rolls in. The fog will dissipate early Friday morning, but be much more of a problem Saturday morning. Be prepared to delay plans early Saturday morning.

After today, temperatures will fly to near 80ºF and stay there for most of the next 7 days. With no major weather systems arriving in the Coastal Bend through the start of next week, rainfall will be limited to isolated showers and a possible thunderstorm on Saturday.
