CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Good chilly morning to you!
A cold front moved through the Coastal Bend yesterday, reinforcing chilly weather and breezy conditions throughout the region. "Caldo weather" is officially here and will stick around for most of the week.
Temperatures are starting out below average (56ºF today) with lows in the 40s for most communities. Expect a mix of sun and clouds today; today will likely be the sunniest day of the week. Today's high temperatures will peak near 60ºF with breezy conditions making it feel a little chillier today. This means our temperatures will top out about 15 degrees below normal. This below average trend looks to stay through the end of the week and even through Thanksgiving!
As far as the rain goes, we'll stay dry until the end of the week. Another cold front arrives Friday and it will not only bring more cool air, it will bring another dose of rain to the Coastal Bend. Showers will be scattered, but cloudy skies are in the forecast.
