CORPUS CHRISTI — We are waking up to another very cold morning here in the Coastal Bend. A Freeze Warning has been issued for our inland county areas through 9 am. However, it should turn out to be a very nice start to our weekend as we will see abundant sunshine with a daytime high in upper 60s. The winds will be light out of the southeast by late day. It's going to be chilly again tonight, but not quite as cold as this morning. Look for mostly clear skies with an overnight low around 41 degrees. We will see a few more clouds on Sunday with a daytime high around 70 degrees. The MLK holiday also looks to be mostly sunny with temperatures in the lower 70s. The winds will be picking up some. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 70s for much of the week ahead. We will see a pretty good chance of showers Wednesday and Thursday.
