CORPUS CHRISTI — We are looking for a warm and breezy start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. A little bit of fog is being reported across the area this morning. This will give way to partly sunny skies this afternoon with a daytime high around 86 degrees. The winds will be blowing out of the south at 10 to 15 miles per hour. We will see a cold front blow through South Texas overnight. There is a very slight chance for a shower or two with the frontal passage. Expect partly cloudy skies this evening with an overnight low around 59 degrees.
High pressure will be in control for the next several days. This will bring us plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures for much of the week ahead. Look for a daytime high on Sunday around 73 degrees. It will be in the upper 60's on Monday. The overnight low temperatures will also drop down to the upper 40's on Monday and Tuesday nights. We will see a gradual warm up through midweek. The next weak cold front will arrive late on Thursday or early Friday morning.
