CORPUS CHRISTI — It was another hot and humid end to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We made it up to 95 degrees today with a peak wind gust of 24 miles per hour. It is going to be hot and humid again tomorrow with more above average temperatures. Another heat advisory may need to be issued. The winds will also be picking up for much of the work week. The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies with an overnight low around 77 degrees. Monday we can expect abundant sunshine with an afternoon high around 96 degrees. Winds will be blowing out of the South at 10 to 20 miles per hour.
We will also see increasing moisture for the start to the work week. This will bring us a very slight chance for a few showers on Tuesday and Wednesday. The hot and dry weather will return for next weekend. Look for daytime highs in the low to mid 90's. The overnight low temperatures will be in the upper 70's to around 80 degrees.
