CORPUS CHRISTI — Moisture creeping in from the Gulf helped to trigger a few isolated showers and thunderstorms today here in the Coastal Bend. Otherwise, we saw a mixture of sunshine and clouds with a daytime high of 92 degrees. The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies with an overnight low around 77 degrees. We can expect similar weather conditions on Sunday. Look for mostly sunny skies with a few isolated shower with an afternoon high of 94 degrees. The winds will also pick up a bit more tomorrow. They will be blowing out of the southeast at 15 to 20 miles per hour.
We will remain under the influence of high pressure for much of the week ahead. This means will remain in a hot and mostly dry weather pattern. Daytime highs will continue in the mid 90's with overnight low's in the upper 70's. We could see a few more isolated showers midweek.
