CORPUS CHRISTI — It is going to be a fantastic weekend to be outdoors. We will see a mixture of sunshine and clouds today following a pretty chilly start to the morning. Temperatures dropped into the upper 50's to lower 60's across much of the Coastal Bend. The winds will also be winding down this afternoon. The forecast for today calls for a daytime high of only 70 degrees with the winds blowing out of the north at 10 to 15 miles per hour. Tonight we can expect mostly cloudy skies and another cool evening. Expect an overnight low around 63 degrees. We will see increasing clouds and moisture for the end to the weekend. It will also be a bit warmer. Look for a daytime high around 82 degrees on Sunday.

It looks like we will see mostly cloudy skies and a chance of showers for Columbus Day. The daytime high temperatures will rebound to the lower 90's for the start to the work week. The next cold front will arrive on Wednesday. A few more isolated showers will be possible with the frontal passage. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80's for the latter half of the week.
