CORPUS CHRISTI — It was a cloudy and mild start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. Our daytime high was 88 degrees with the peak wind gust of 25 miles per hour. The Saharan dust will start to clear out tomorrow and we should see a bit more sunshine for the end to the weekend. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies and hazy weather conditions. Look for an overnight low around 78 degrees. Tomorrow we are expecting partly sunny skies and breezy weather conditions. The winds will be blowing out of the southeast at 15 to 25 miles per hour. Small craft should exercise caution the next couple of days when heading out on the waterways.

It should be a rather quiet week ahead. We can expect a mixture of sunshine and clouds each day. Daytime high temperatures will be in the upper 80's to lower 90's. The overnight low temperatures will be in the upper 70's. There is very little chance for rain during the forecast period. Another round of Saharan dust will be returning late in the workweek.
