ROBSTOWN, Texas — Mike Shaw Toyota will sponsor its fourth annual Turkeys for Troops until 6 p.m. tonight.

Thanks to Mike Shaw and others including Walmart, Dr Pepper, Keurig and Dealer Associations and KRIS-TV, free turkeys will be provided to active duty military and veteran military personnel for the holidays.

This is a small gesture of thanks from all of us to all the brave men and women who protect and defend us.

Please bring a valid military I.D. to receive your turkey at their showroom, 3232 Interstate 69 Access Road in Robstown. There is a limit of one turkey per household.

KRIS 6 News will present regular stories on veterans in our area. If you know of a veteran who needs our help, let us know at 361-886-6100.

Distribution of turkeys will continue while supplies last.
