CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — City officials say because of a second night of forecasted icy conditions, many roads remain closed, but we have learned earlier this morning the JFK Causeway has reopened.
In a tweet early this morning, the Texas Department of Transportation said the JFK Causeway has reopened, but officials are asking people who use it not to go over 40 mph.
As of now, SPID Crosstown and I-37 remain closed, though there is word they may reopen later today.
But late Monday afternoon, the Joe Fulton Corridor was officially reopened.
United Airlines canceled all flights in and out of Corpus Christi International Airport through mid-afternoon today.
American and Southwest haven't announced any changes to flights for Tuesday.
