KINGSVILLE, Texas — A recent survey from Top Data shows 73 % of people said they are shopping more online than they were before the pandemic.

In a press release, UPS said its "running one of the most successful peak holiday shipping seasons ever."

But one small, local business said it's having trouble with some deliveries for the business and shipments to customers.

Best friends Rebecca Sanchez and Stephanie Perryman are the owners of Stef and Becs Boutique in Kingsville. They started their business two years ago in Sanchez's dinning room.

They said business got better for them after the pandemic hit because they were filling more online orders.

"It skyrocketed," said Stephanie Perryman. "We did not realize that we had built a business built on how to survive COVID, but we knew we were going to offer a customer service experience that you won't find anywhere else."

The two said there was another problem they were not expecting that began at the end of October.

They say it's been hard to keep their unique stock of merchandise on the shelves because incoming shipments are coming in multiple deliveries from UPS and sometimes later than advertised.

If you want your items to arrive in time for Christmas, Wednesday is the cut-off for UPS next day air and Fed Ex priority overnight deliveries.
