CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — London ISD Superintendent Dr. Bill Chapman has resigned from the district.
Chapman submitted his resignation during a school board meeting Tuesday night. His last day with the district is Aug. 31.
A district spokesperson said Chapman's departure came down to fit.
"It just wasn't a good fit," the spokesperson said.
Chapman had been with the district for two years.
