CORPUS CHRISTI, Tx — The Corpus Christi Police Department is investigating an early morning crash that occurred Friday morning, just before 7:30 a.m.

According to CCPD Senior Officer Antonio Contreras, a truck and an SUV collided, causing one of the vehicles to spin out of control on Everhart Road near SPID.

Police report that there were no major injuries. Work crews are clearing the scene, and as a result, expect some traffic delays in the area.
