CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — We are learning more about a woman who was shot and killed last week.
The Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office says 45-year-old Michelle Hernandez was shot and killed following a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police said the victim was involved with a disturbance with 32-year old John Pena. The woman later died and Pena now is charged with murder.
Police didn't say what it led up to the disturbance.
