BEEVILLE, Texas — Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville is hosting its first of two covid-19 vaccination clinics today - by appointment only.
The hospital will serve as the COVID-19 vaccination hub to provide for Bee County. It will host another drive-thru distribution tomorrow for appointment-only vaccinations.
The county has opened up several phone lines to help with appointment reservations.
A call center has been set up and will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m today.
You must meet the criteria for the state's phase 1-a and phase 1-b to participate.
The numbers to the call center is (361) 354-2978, 361-354-2841, 361-354-2861 and 361-534-9333. Lines will be busy, so please be patient if you cannot get through the first time.
Those who do get an appointment are asked to arrive at the hospital drive-thru at your appointment time and wear loose-fitting clothing so the shot can be administered quickly.
The hospital held its first distribution last week, administering more than 1,900 Pfizer vaccines.
