An arrest has been made in connection to a fatal shooting on the city’s south side last night.
According to Corpus Christi Police, 31-year-old Krystal Obanyoun charged with murder in the death of 32-year-old Lon Alan Rives, who was killed in the shooting at a home on the 4400 block of Silver Hollow Drive.
Police were called out to a report of a shooting last night around 7:30 pm. When police arrived, they found the Rives dead inside the home.
Police said Obanyoun was also in the home.
No motive has been given for the shooting, but police did say that Obanyoun and Rives knew each other.
Obanyoun is being held in Nueces County Jail on $1 million bail.
