Police officers discover 32-year-old man shot, dead

Police released new details of a shooting on the city's south-side of town and here is what we know about the early stages of the investigation.

Who: Police have so far said the ages of the person who was killed (32-year-old man) and a female detained (31-years-old). No one has been officially named as of early Tuesday morning.

What: Police were called about a disturbance/shooting.

When: Sometime after 7:28 pm Monday evening.

Where: 4400 block of Silver Hollow Drive.

Why: Detectives are still investigating that. Police say the two people knew each other at the time of the shooting and they are working to determine their relationship status Monday evening.

Police say the two were the only people inside the home at the time of the shooting and they are not looking for any suspects in connection to this homicide investigation.
