Flour Bluff H-E-B employee tests positive for COVID-19

FLOUR BLUFF, Texas — H-E-B announced today that one of their employees tested positive for COVID-19.

"As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, our H-E-B family has not gone unaffected," said H-E-B in a statement.

H-E-B calls their employee's partners, and the partner who tested positive for the virus was last in the Flour Bluff store location on April 1.

Since then, H-E-B says they have taken the appropriate steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

"All directly affected Partners at the location have been notified and the store has been deep cleaned and sanitized multiple times since then and we continue to enforce proper social distancing practices," said H-E-B in a press release.

H-E-B has received accolades for their handling of the coronavirus pandemic. Along with recently changing their policy to supply masks and gloves for all their employees,H-E-B has also helped by donating food to local food banks across Texas.
