CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It might feel warm and breezy this afternoon, but expect cooler temperatures to start rolling in by early Wednesday morning.

The winds will slow down as a frontal system rolls into our area later tonight with much colder weather by tomorrow.

By Wednesday, expect at least a 20-degree drop in our temperatures.

And from there, showers will make for sloppy weather for at least the next three daysw.

Look for rainfall totals to reach the inch mark.

The system is on its way. And by tomorrow morning, folks across the Coastal Bend certainly will recognize it.

Today: Cloudy, warm and windy. High 79.
Wednesday: Much colder. Gusty north winds. Showers developing. High 63.
Thursday: Cloudy and cold with showers all day. High 56.
Friday: Cloudy and cold. Showers decreasing. High 55.
Saturday: Cloudy and not as cold. High 65.
