CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Wedding Fair Events provides a one-stop shop for couples that are tying the knot.
The bridal show, which was held at the American Bank Center, consists of top vendors in the Coastal Bend's wedding industry.
"We have a lot to offer the brides. It's a great value to come down here and take care of everything in one day, under one roof," Maureen Wysoki, the producer of Wedding Fair Events says "so it saves them time and gas and money and just takes a lot of the stress out of the planning."
Couples planning their wedding had the chance to win thousands of dollars in door prizes. Each bride received a gift of $200 that they can use toward wedding vendors of their choice.
"There's no catch, there's no registration, it is a real deal and they all love it." Wysoki said.
Brides-to-be found it very helpful to be able to compare different vendors.
"Our wedding is a little bit further out, we're planning for end of 2021 so it's nice to be able to come and see everything and get our options straight before we decide on anything." Trysten Dangler, Wedding Fair attendee said.
Trysten's fiancé, Kaleb Ferguson, says the Wedding Fair has perks for men too.
"You get to see everything else, suits and everything for men also, pictures, food, that's the best part, food." Ferguson says.
As part of a contest called "Last Couple Standing," one couple walked away with a wedding package valued at over $10,000.
If you missed out on this Wedding Fair, the American Bank Center is set to host another one in October.
