CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — With upper level high pressure to our west the tropics will start to open up a bit with increasing moisture resulting in a few more clouds for the area and isolated showers beginning on Friday and lasting for several days.
With lighter winds we will have improving heat index values that will be a little more tolerable. Activity in the tropics is not a threat here.
Tonight expect fair skies a light breeze warm and sticky with a low of 79.Wednesday we will have a mix of clouds and sunshine less wind but still hot with a high of 96.Wednesday night expect mainly clear skies more tranquil with a low of 76.
Thursday expect lots of sunshine generally light winds dry and baking hot with a high of 97.Rainfall starts to pick up slowly on Friday.
