NWS: High chance of development for eastern Atlantic disturbance

Potential Tropical Cyclone Six has formed in the far eastern Atlantic.

The National Hurricane Center is giving this area a 90 percent chance of development over the next five days.

The forecast cone shows the system possibly becoming hurricane strength by Sunday. The storm will be named Florence if it strengthens.

The system is currently moving west at 12 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center.
