It was a sunny and warm start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We made it up 95 degrees this afternoon. It was also rather breezy with the winds blowing out of the southeast.
There were a few isolated showers reported in some of our inland areas.
The showers will be on the increase as we move into Sunday and Monday. The forecast for this evening calls for partly cloudy skies and mild conditions with an overnight low around 77 degrees.
Tomorrow we can expect partly sunny skies with the possibility of a few showers and thunderstorms. We should see an afternoon high around 93 degrees.
The shower activity is likely to taper off midweek. This will bring drier and warmer weather for the latter half of the week. Look for afternoon highs in the mid 90’s with overnight lows in the upper 70’s.
