CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — There will be a series of cold fronts that will be paying us a visit this week bringing a small opportunity for a shower or two, but for the most part, most of these fronts are weak in nature.

We'll see some temporarily cooler air in the region when the fronts move by. However, temperatures for the most part will remain above normal.

We're starting the week with plenty of wind and temperatures mainly in the upper 60s to low 70s.

Our first front is in west Texas and will arrive here about midday. Ahead of the front, temperatures will be very warm, and we'll look for a high in the low 80s. Winds will begin to come down later this afternoon as our pressure gradient relaxes.

Tuesday and Wednesday, highs will moderate into the mid to lower 70s with a good mix of clouds and sun. Winds increase Wednesday afternoon.

Another push of cold air arrives on late Tuesday and into Wednesday morning and will have a bit of chilliness to work with. It will drop us into the upper 30s to lower 40s on Thursday morning with highs in the 60s.

Temperatures will rise Friday and Saturday into the 70s. We'll still hold on to a good mix of clouds and sun and the winds will also come back up on Saturday ahead of the next weak frontal boundary that will arrive Sunday morning.

Rainfall chances, unfortunately, look slim to none as each front moves into the area.

Outside of a shower or two that will yield a hundredth of an inch here and there, many of us will stay dry.

Have a great day!
