CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Low pressure and tropical moisture have left the area and in its wake left behind very dry scorching temperatures. Temperatures will moderate slightly as the week progresses with more tropical moisture and a few showers dotting the south Texas skies.

Tonight will be mainly clear breezy very warm and stuffy with a low of 81.

Tuesday expect sunny skies again a little less wind very dry and blazing hot with a high of 98.

Tuesday night will be warm and sticky but more tranquil with a low of 79.

Wednesday expect a mix of clouds and sunshine less wind still very dry and scorching hot with a high of 96.

The tropics are active with T.D. #6 in the Atlantic off the east coast of the U.S. and Dorian now in the northeastern Caribbean sea. Neither system is a threat here.
