CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It was a chilly start to today with the overnight low out at Corpus Christi International Airport dropping to 49 degrees. However, our northerly component that ushered in that cooler and drier air already is being replaced by a southeasterly wind. This means that humidity levels will be on the rise, along with temperatures.

Tonight, it'll still be cool with an overnight lows of 57 here in Corpus Christi. Inland areas will fall into the lower 50s. As humidity levels begin rising, we could see some patchy fog across South Texas for the early-morning commute. Use caution, as visibility could drop below one mile for some inland locations. Wind: S 6-12 MPH

Monday, we'll still see a decent amount of sunshine, but the clouds will still be slowly on the increase as the day progresses. Look for a highs in the low 80s here in the city, and in the mid- to- upper 80s inland. Wind: SSE 9-18 MPH

Tuesday the cloud coverage will be back in full force. Clouds will be streaming in, not only from the Gulf, but we'll have a decent tap streaming overhead from the Pacific. Highs will still be warm, in the low- to mid-80s. Wind: S 15-20 MPH.

Wednesday morning, a cold front will push into the area in the morning between 4-8 a.m. The front will bring some cooler air, but also a chance of a few isolated showers. Throughout the rest of the day, we'll maintain overcast skies and some light drizzle and windy conditions. Highs will only push the mid-60s before falling into the 50s by Thanksgiving morning. Rainfall amounts do not look overly impressive, with some locations picking up a few tenths. Hundredths is more likely.

Thanksgiving Day, the winds will relax some, but it'll still be breezy with winds out of the southeast around 9-18 MPH. Skies will be mainly cloudy. We could see a brief, light shower or two and temperatures will have recovered from Wednesday back into the upper 70s for a high.

Skies stay cloudy through the first part of the weekend, along with warmer temperatures and increasing humidity. The next cold front looks to arrive Saturday evening and into Sunday morning, which will bring another dose of that cooler air.
