CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Arctic air is still in place over South Texas, but so is the thick cloud cover due to an upper level low pushing Pacific moisture into our region.

This will result in another round of showers that will arrive on Wednesday night and move northward and out of the area by Thursday afternoon.

Temperatures will recover nicely once the sun returns in force on Friday.

Tonight a freeze warning is in effect for the northern Coastal Bend (Corpus Christi is not included) even though nearly all of the area will stay above freezing due to heavy cloud cover.

Expect a low here with decreasing winds of 35.

Wednesday will be cloudy and not quite as cold as today with light winds and a high of 49.

Wednesday night light rain is likely still cold with a low of 41.

Thursday expect the slow warming trend to continue with rain ending in the morning breezy and chilly during the afternoon with a high of 54. Sunshine and 60's on Friday.
